He collaborated from 1978 with different Architectural Companies in Italy and Canada, prior to opening, in 1990, his own private practice A & D Architects and Designers in Athens. He is fluent in English, French, Italian and Greek.
Awards
Has taken part in several architectural competitions, both individually and with A&D, and has received significant distinctions:
2017: AB Vassilopoulos store at Mitropoleos Street, Athens received the first RETAIL STORE SUPER MARKET award at the 16th Retail Business Awards, marking it as the best store in the domestic organized food retailer in Greece for 2017.
2003: 1st Prize – Chania Bank Headquarters in Greece.
2000: 1st Prize – Post-Savings Bank, Ioannina, Greece
1992: Design proposal for the City Hall of Peania, Greece.
1989: 1st Prize – Kaneff Centre for Management & Social Sciences, Erindal College, Toronto, Canada.
1984: First City Headquarters, Edmonton, Canada.
1983: Carmose Senior Citizens Recreation Center, Edmonton, Canada.
Vassiliki Kyriakopoulou studied Architecture at the National Technical University (1980-1986) and completed her Postgraduate Diploma in Sorbonne University in Paris.

She also specialized in Architectural Design with Computer Assistance (C.E.E.A) at the School of Architecture-PARIS CONFLANS (1986-1987)
Dan Iakovou studied Architecture at the ION MINCU University in Bucharest, Romania from where he graduated in 1999. Since 2021 he is a member of our team as Senior Architect.
Kostis Anagnostakis studied Αrchitecture (1998-2005) at the National Technical University and then completed his postgraduate studies in Urban and Regional Planning at the National Technical University of Athens, in 2011. Since 2021 he is a member of our team as Senior Architect.
Anthony Douvlaris studied architecture at the University of Florence and graduated in 1980 with a performance diploma with the highest grades. He speaks fluent English, French, Italian and Greek In 1982 he acquired his professional license.

His thesis focused on the Reforming historic center buildings, adjacent to the architecture school, in creating an art center including a center stage design, film art and an underground experimental hall with reusable views and variable configuration
Prior to joining the team of A & D Architects and Designers in 1998, he held an architect’s position in the offices of BITSIOS ,TEKTEL A E, GIBB PETERMULLER & PARTNERS, Str. Papadopoulos and KINITRON.
