Angeliki Gerasimopoulou was born in 1978 in Athens, Greece. She is fluent in English and Greek.
She initiated her studies in Architecture and Design in 1996 at PLAKAS Arts Center, in Athens, where she received her National Diploma (ND) in Architecture and Design in 1997.
She continued in the United Kingdom, at Birmingham City University, where in 2005 completed her studies and received her Diploma in Architecture.
One year later she was nominated for an award by the Technical Chamber of Greece (TCG/TEE) for her Thesis (Design Project) entitled "Ephemeral Architecture: Traveling Theater".
Furthermore, by developing her professional qualifications and aiming to enrich her knowledge, she attended in 2010 a Project Management Professionals (PMP) preparation program and received in 2011 a Master Certificate in Project Management approved by the Project Management Institute of Athens.
Prior to joining the team of A&D Architects and Designers, she held an architect’s position at the architectural company Ν.Κ.Μ.Μ.S Ltd. in Athens in 2005, and was involved with the architectural design of Hospital Buildings of the National Health System of Greece.
From 2008 until today, at A&D, she is mainly focused on the architectural design of buildings of the Retail Sector, and in particular of Super/Hypermarket Buildings of the largest word wide chains, from the initial design stage right through to completion.
She runs her private architectural practice, and since 2013 she is a certified Environmental Inspector in Greece.
