2004 - Egnatia Bank Headquarters

Tasks:

Location: P. Faliro, Greece
Design: 2004

Based on the fact that the land is triangular in shape, the building has been designed in the shape of a fan. Upon looking from the exterior one can see that the fan has been penetrated by a triangular volume. This administers the sense that the two pieces of the building have been pushed outward, united solely through glass thus creating an intangible faculty. The spaces are open with a courtyard in the middle in order to emphasize communication and companionship. This open transparent structure is representative at the bank’s philosophy, which is that of an open minded bank without barriers towards society and its clients.
